Lunge Twist

  • Begin standing with your feet shoulder-width apart.
  • Step forward into a basic lunge with your right foot.
  • Be careful to keep your knee over your right foot as you bend it, avoiding twisting at the knee.
  • Keeping your core engaged and your hips steady, turn/twist your upper body to the right.
  • With your arms reach across with your arms outstretched to the right side.
  • Bring your arms back to the centre, slowly and controlled.
  • Then, step your right foot back, returning to the starting position. Repeat on the other side.
